Sectionals are small group lessons that students receive once a week on a rotating schedule. Students are taken from Allied Arts, Physical Education or Foreign Language classes. Because the sectionals schedule rotates, a student misses the same class every 6 weeks.

 

Sectionals allow students to work more closely on their individual part of the orchestra music and also address individual technique and posture issues. Sectionals are not a replacement for lessons with a private teacher who can spend 30-45 minutes focused on an individual. Private lessons are highly recommended.
